Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially minded, data-driven Head of Charter to build, grow, and lead a charter division encompassing both retail and Central Agency activity. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for revenue growth, market expansion, and team development, driven by analytics and measurable performance rather than intuition.
Charter experience is strongly preferred but not essential. We welcome candidates from adjacent luxury or asset-led industries who bring fresh thinking, modern sales strategies, and a proven ability to scale commercial teams.
This role is about growth, not maintenance.
Core Responsibilities
Commercial Growth & Strategy

Own and deliver the charter revenue growth strategy

Drive operations, client acquisition, and sales pipelines using data and analytics

Identify new markets, client segments, and sales channels

Advise yacht owners on charter performance using clear, data-backed insights
Sales & Market Presence

Lead relationships with charter brokers, central agents, and key partners

Develop direct and alternative sales pathways where appropriate

Represent the company at charter shows, events, and key client meetings

Position the business as a progressive, commercially sharp charter operator
Team Leadership & Department Growth

Build, lead, and scale the charter team

Recruit, manage, and develop charter managers and support staff

Set KPIs, targets, and performance frameworks

Embed a high-performance, data-driven team culture

Ensure close collaboration with yacht management, captains, and owners
Yacht Performance & Marketing

Oversee charter readiness, calendars, and fleet coordination

Ensure yachts are positioned effectively based on performance data

Oversee charter marketing assets in collaboration with the marketing team

Drive innovation in yacht presentation, packaging, and client experience
Reporting & Accountability

Full ownership of charter P&L and forecasting

Deliver concise, data-driven reporting to management and yacht owners

Use analytics to inform all strategic and commercial decisions
Candidate Profile
Experience

Senior commercial or sales leadership experience in yacht charter, luxury travel, hospitality, or asset-led businesses

Proven success in growing revenue and scaling teams

Charter experience strongly preferred but not essential

Experience working with high-value assets and discerning clients
