Job Description
As the Senior Yacht Manager, you will oversee a team of Monaco-based yacht ops staff including Yacht Managers, Crew/HR Coordinators and Yacht/Client Accountants.
Working closely with the DPA, Director of Yacht Management and CEO of the US office, you'll be involved in team strategy, training and development of the company management systems and processes. The main responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
- Training of junior and new employees.
- Existing team development and mentoring.
- Acting as Deputy DPA and internal auditor.
- Leading the onboarding project for new vessels joining the managed fleet.
- Member of the internal emergency response team.
- Supporting the Crew HR Coordinator on complicated crew matters/investigations and Yacht Managers.
- Forming part of the company's new business team, seeking and developing new relationships.
About You
- Minimum of 5 years in a Med-based management company in a Yacht Management/Operations role.
- Operational experience/exposure in the 70m+ range is advantageous.
- Adept at financial management and budgetary control, including reporting requirements.
- Fluent written and verbal English.
- Strong knowledge of crew recruitment and policies.
- Able to influence and negotiate at a stakeholder level (Captains, Owner Reps, Insurance etc).
- Organised and able to prioritise time and tasks.
- Professional outlook.
