Are you an experienced retail charter broker or charter manager looking for a senior leadership position?
One of the industries most respected names is looking to appoint a Group Retail Charter Manager to develop, grow and lead their successul and established charter business. Building on the companies name and reputation for luxury experiences, you'll work closely with the senior management team to guide the charter operation through its next phase of growth.
The role remit falls into 4 key catergories; strategy, team management, individual goals and group reporting.
Regarding strategy, you'll focus on team standards and client satisfaction. Working to improve team performance and quality, you'll look to achieve business goals according to the agreed growth targets while working to improve and develop new processes, quality standards and templates. Actively bringing up, developing and managing new initiatives to improve the department and associated services and company procedures.
In terms of team management; you'll endeavour to be available at all times to support the team and deputise for the Group Sales Director and Charter Fleet Manager when required. Key areas include setting individual Charter Consultants’ targets aligned with business objectives and conducting appraisals and performance review discussions with every Charter Retail Consultant individually according to Company procedure. You'll ensure that each member of the Charter Consultant Team performs at a high level of quality, efficiency, independence and with the necessary dedication and attention to detail to their work. Recording, managing, reviewing, steering Charter Consultants’ performance to achieve higher Client satisfaction and improve business performance (revenue and profitability)
Individual goals and reporting cover myriad areas, but headlines will include representing the companies interests outside of the office, maintaining and growing the client portfolio and developing new opportunities. Reporting tasks cover liability for department performance at board level, reporting on KPIs, financial performance budgets at Exec level when requested.
About You
- You'll be an established retail broker or CM in your own right, able to demonstrate a record of consistent billing and customer success
- You'll possess in depth knowledge of the international charter market, along with an established network of industry connections
- You'll be a critical thinker, able to plan and prioritise tasks and goals whilst maintaining a broad overview of the growth trajectory and goals
- You'll be based close to any of the major yachting destinations around the Med
- You'll possess excellent written and verbal English; multi lingual would be advantageous
- You'll have some prior experience in a team leadership/mentorship/management capacity
This is a hybrid role covering time WFH, from the network of company offices and travel to events, shows and client meetings both internationally around the Med.
The company offers a fantastic base salary plus commissions, KPI bonuses and a full benefits package.
