Are you an experienced Yacht Accountant or Purser recently ashore or considering the move?

A fantastic yacht management firm based on the UK south coast are seeking an office-based yacht accounts person to join them, working to manage the financial matters for assigned vessels in their fleet. Due to continued growth of their managed yacht fleet, the team is needing to grow to cope with ongoing demand. 

Based locally to the yachting hub of The Solent, the team have been enjoying steady growth through exceptional support of their international fleet and are fast building an excellent industry profile. 

In the role of Yacht Accounts you will fulfil, but not be limited to, the following duties:

- Supporting your assigned fleet on day-to-day, monthly and annual bookkeeping

- Managing international VAT and international payments

- Financial forecasting and reporting

- Processing expenses

- Crew payroll support 

As an individual you will have had previous experience in managing a yachts finances, either on board or ashore. You will be confident to work with captains and crews to process finances across international jurisdictions as well as with various national bodies for tax and VAT reasons. You'll be confident and supportive, ready to take on any challenges that come your way.
