We are working with a household name in yacht sales and services who are seeking an Aftersales Coordinator to be responsible for providing the highest level of customer satisfaction, in the delivery of warranty support exceeding expectations in terms of our professionalism, solution provision and turnaround.
Joining as Aftersales Coordinator, your role will include: -
Providing a single point of contact for all warranty concerns in the first three years of new boat ownership.
Collecting as much information as possible, to determine viability of claims and the correct solution.
Processing warranty claims with the relevant factory, ordering and tracking parts.
Developing and maintaining a good rapport with contractors and counterparts in the build factories to ensure a professional and efficient service is delivered.
Organising worldwide logistics, local service agents and our own technicians for support visit as required.
Ensuring technicians and sub-contractors are fully briefed as to the nature of the problem, the proposed solution and timeframe for resolution.
Ensuring customers are kept fully informed of the progress and status of all work being carried out. Keeping updates current on the interactive Aftersales App.
Maintaining highest levels of administration, ensuring all warranty costs are recharged to sub-contractors or manufacturers as appropriate.
Settling disputes relating to warranty contract in a professional, courteous and calm manner.
Informing the Line Manager in the advent of an event escalating, so appropriate action can be quickly taken.
Maintaining a flexible, warm and polite approach towards every customer, providing the very highest level of customer service, enhancing customer experience wherever possible.
As an Individual you will have experience of working in the yachting world in a similar role, with experience of boat repairs / warranty issues.
Detailed technical knowledge of boat's systems and equipment are required, ideally power boats.
Due to the nature of the role in working closely with clients, you will take pride in meeting your customer expectations, have excellent communication and negotiation skills with customers, suppliers and colleagues alike.
A flexible attitude to working hours and the ability to travel both in the UK and abroad at short notice if needed due to yacht manufacturer and customer locations.
