Job Description

Are you an expert in resin infusion and keen to take on a role that will see you a little more 'hands-off'?

One of the UKs leading boatbuilders are embarking on a major project to further introduce infusion into their yachtbuilding capability and seek a highly skilled composites specialist to work closely with the Head of Production to develop a wide ranging serious of composite workflows and project packs.

Evolving as a business, the move to infusion has been a logical one and rather than embracing a broader rolling out of process across all areas of the company, the production team are developing a series of project 'packs' that the Infusion Lead will then explain and educate the laminating teams on. With each vessel, there will be a pre-set pack of materials, time and manpower set so as to maintain a high standard of build and finish throughout and to allow for far more efficient planning elsewhere in the business.

The Infusion Lead will need to be a strong team leader as well as well versed in the technical aspect of the role, capable of working with teams of up to 20 at a time to educate them on infusion process and to ensure that each project is fulfilled in line with company expectation. Coming from ideally a marine background (although aerospace or wind are also considered) you will be able to educate, mentor and delegate where required and be constantly across all projects under your control.

The brand are on a strong upwards trajectory at present, working to develope new products, so this role offers a great chance for growth and career development.

A salary of up to £40,000.p.a is offered as well as a host of further employment benefits.
