As the Marketing Communications lead you will be involved heavily with the PR and events as well as developing content across multiple platforms and channels. Some of the tasks and skills included will be email and digital marketing, copywriting, word, photo and video content creation and event and project management. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be working as part of a team to help educate people on the companies mission and services whilst helping develop and grow the brand and business.
The company have developed a name in the industry associated with adventure, conservation and sustainability. Having partnered with several other big name brands, they have developed new foundations and initiatives to try and improve the way in which we operate on the sea and help drive change in this area.
The role requires someone pro-active and creative that has knowledge of the marine industry and preferably an interest in marine conservation and sustainability. There will be limited to no access of outsourcing to agencies so someone with a wide array of skills in marketing, platforms and various computer software would be best suited to this. The role is remote but there will be regular meetings, so ease of access to the company sites is important, therefor you must be located in or near to Southampton. You must have a minimum of 3 years experience with Marketing in the Marine industry, salary is depending on experience.
