As the exclusive Sales Manager for the brand you will be generating and managing leads, organising and executing sea trials with clients, attending industry shows and hosting or attending events and dinners in order to promote the brand and secure deals. You will also be responsible for organising the moorings and developing the orders book and sales plans. There will be an assistant to support you with some of the admin tasks and areas of the sale.
This recognised dealership has offices in Spain and the Balearic Islands, selling luxury sailing yachts, tenders, day boats and small motor yachts. They are expanding their sales fleet to include a luxury brand with vessels ranging from 10-20m. Known to be used alongside super yachts and for day and weekend trips, the boat brand is highly regarded in the US and attracts clients looking to make a statement.
The right candidate will need to have a strong sales background and social skills, knowledge of the industry would be beneficial, as well as a network of clients that suit the brands target market mentioned above. You will be based in Palma, Majorca for the majority of the year, with the summer months of June-September spent working in Ibiza, so knowledge and connections in both locations is preferred as well as being flexible with travel and temporary relocation. Language preferences include a good level of English, Spanish and German.
An industry standard salary will be offered, based on the experience of the candidate, along with a generous results based compensation scheme, therefor, someone with a lot of ambition who is looking to develop within the sales side of the industry would be best suited to the position. Certain expenses and compensation will be offered when working away from their permanent residence, preferably Palma. The role will be starting in September. Must hold an EU passprt.
